The Beginning

Founded in 2018, ALROK began as a small market stall inspired by a love for handmade jewellery and the vibrant beauty of natural stones. What started as a weekend passion soon grew into a beloved name among local market visitors.

First Storefront

Our first shopping centre kiosk opened at Castle Hill, marking a new chapter for ALROK as we brought our designs to a wider audience while staying true to our handmade roots.

Growing Presence

We expanded to a second location at Macquarie Centre, sharing our dainty, everyday pieces with even more jewellery lovers across Sydney.

New Studio in Norwest

We moved into our new Norwest studio, creating a dedicated space for design, craftsmanship, and creative growth where every ALROK piece continues to be thoughtfully designed and handcrafted.

Our Name

Founded by Korea-born Australian designer Lindsay Lee,

ALROK draws its name from the Korean phrase

“알록달록 (al-rok dal-rok)”, meaning colourful and full of character, and from the English phrase “All Rocks.”

Together, they reflect the brand’s spirit — celebrating individuality through natural stones, organic forms, and timeless design.
